A friend pointed out this really good blog entry by Mitch Krpata at Insult Swordfighting about reviews and how people overreact to them — while also pointing out that the people who overreact aren’t processing the information correctly. I touch on this in the book, but a review is not marching orders, and it also should not be seen as a personal insult. Yet that’s exactly how we see a lot of people react. It’s worth digging into Mitch’s thoughts on this topic.
